 Beef And Pork Loaf Recipe

3- Lbs of ground beef
1 and 1/2- lbs of ground fresh pork
3- tbsp. of green pepper finely chopped
3-cups of bread crumbs
Pepper to taste
4-tsp. of salt
2-tsp. of onion chopped
1-cup of milk

Mix all ingredients very well. Shape into a loaf set this on a rack in a roasting pan. Brush top with some sort of fat or try bacon strips. I love bacon. Set under the broiler and sear for 20 minutes. Cover roaster to finish cooking. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours. You can also bake it for 3 hours at 275 degrees.
