Chuck Wagon Beans Recipe

½ Lb. bacon slices
 3 lbs. ground beef or turkey
1 large onion (finely chopped)
1 cup celery (chopped)
2/3 cup beef broth
1½ cloves garlic (minced)
1½ cups catsup
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
½ teaspoon pepper
 2 cans bush beans (13 oz. cans)

In large pan fry bacon until crisp, remove & drain. Pour drippings in pan. In same pan, add & stir ground beef, onion & celery. When beef is brown & onion is tender, stir in broth & remaining ingredients. Cover & bake about 1 hour 15 minutes, or cook in crockpot until hot & bubbly. Crumble bacon, sprinkle over beans.
Makes 12 servings (1cup each)
