Coney Island Sauce

Great sauce for Hot-dogs

1 quart tomato  juice
1 lb. of lean hamburger
1 tbs.to 2 tbs. paprika

1 to 2 tbs. of Cumin

1 tsp. garlic

1/2 cup of chopped onions
1 tbs. of onion soup mix

1 tsp. salt

Put tomato juice in pan and bring to slow boil. Drop the uncooked hamburger  in pieces in hot juice causes it to fall apart. Stir until the meat all of it separates and creates a smooth sauce. Add  paprika, cumin, garlic, onions, salt, & onion soup mix. You can adjust the flavors you want more of in or less. Cook sauce for 1 hour or more until it cooks down to where you can spread it on the hot dogs. This recipe can be adjusted to your taste. This also freezes well.
