 Portuguese Biscoito Recipe


2 and 1/4 cups of sugar
1-cup of shortening
1-cup of milk
1-tsp. of baking soda
3 and 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2-tsp. salt
7-cups of flour
1 and 1/2 tsp. of vanilla


Mix all in a bowl. Stretch dough into 1/2 by 7 inch rolls  then twist once in the middle. Coat each one with an egg-wash bake for 18 minutes at 350.
