Rice Chicken Recipe


1 whole chicken cut up
2 cups of long grain rice not cooked
1 cup ketchup
1 onion (chopped)
1 celery stalk (chopped)
salt and pepper

Put chicken in 8 quart pan with onion, celery salt & pepper to your taste & cook. When chicken is done, remove and place in a dish. Put rice in same liquid you cooked the chicken. Cook the rice according to package instructions. When the rice is done add the ketchup, and stir until it is the flavor you like add more if desired then place it in a roasting pan and place chicken on top. Bake at 350% for about 30 minutes or until chicken is brown and the liquid is absorbed.
